Our vision at Horizon School Peru is to have a world in which all citizens are given equal opportunities to receive a quality education.
Our mission is to drastically improve the lives of some of the poorest people in the world by providing them opportunities which they otherwise would not have. We provide such opportunities by using education as a tool for empowerment.

Our goals include:
- Provide a quality English language education to people of all ages in the local community of La Esperanza completely free of charge
- Work in partnership with the local primary school to enhance the quality of English language education offered to our kids in La Esperanza
- Open new avenues and opportunities for learning to the kids of La Esperanza through cross-cultural engagement, learning, and communication
- Offer training in the field of computer technology so that our kids are able to continue pursuing opportunities for betterment even outside the classroom
- Improve the lives of street children by implementing projects focused on providing shelter, food, education, and general support to get the children of La Esperanza off the street.
- Provide our volunteers with the best volunteer experience by living in an authentic family exchange environment that fosters learning about Peruvian culture while sharing in experiences with other volunteers from across the world!
